Is in Chinatown, through a small lane way opposite The Dragon Boat. It's not hidden like Diagon Alley but you won't know it's there if you are not looking for it. For some reason every time we go there we manage to coincide with some delivery van. Lane way is so narrow, it's either us or the van. Name of eatery is Heyday and it look like any other HK Kopitiam that you can find in Hong Kong equiped with its own surly waiter. Luckily he didn't bring our tea with his fingers tip dipped in it. Lately I find he isn't that surly anymore, probably cause he recognize us now.
I can't remember how we found this place, it could be from a quest to find HK French Toast. It does produce the most authentic HK French Toast (duh~) that we ordered every time. Besides that, I will also order the pork chop with onion tomato sauce.
Notice the 'I' in the sentence, yes it's just me and my lack of adventure spirit. Nite on the other hand will try many different dishes - an arrangement that works perfectly for me as I can try some off her dish without running into the risk of ordering something I can't swallow.

The latest dish she tried was some HK fried chicken which she pronounced as better than the previous garlic prawn. I believe the next in her list is the mince beef with rice or was it chef's special?
I also realize I shouldn't blog about food in the middle of the night. Makes me hungry.
